Released back in February 2007 is Johnny Law's latest CD recorded in Berlin at Lightning Sound Recorders and released on the Rhythm Bomb Records label and features 15 hot new tracks and 2 covers. That's a total of 17 songs on one disc!! Grab a copy today before the band release another CD in 2008.
'Known for their great live shows, Johnny Law & the Pistol Packin’ Daddies were formed back in 2001 in Perth, Western Australia and since then the band has produced 3 full length CDs, played gigs in Europe and America as well as playing around the local circuit and gigs in the eastern states of Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney etc)
After a 3 year weekly gig at the Mustang Bar in Perth, it was time to take the band across the sea. The band was fortunate to be awarded a Government Grant to tour Germany in the winter of 2006. After the completion of the tour Johnny decided to move to California where he now resides for the time being.
While in Berlin the band were approached by independent record label Rhythm Bomb Records and asked to record a new CD. After 4 sessions at Lightning Sound Recorders (a studio comprising of all vintage 1950’s and 60’s equipment) “I’ll Get It Right” was born.
On this CD you'll find 15 songs penned by Johnny Law. It contains a variety of songs from typical Rockabilly like the CD’s title song to a revamped swingin’ version of Johnny Burnette’s “All By Myself”. There’s even some Marty Robbins (Gunfighter Ballads CD) influenced sounds.
