Second album of this 1/3rd Walloons (Marc Bodart ex-Buttnaked) and 2/3rd Flemmish (Bart Ieven, Toon Derison ex El Fish) group. Still an obstinate mix of boogie, blues and world music.
Les Générals Jack is a trio, two guitars & drums, who bring an original mix of Rock, Funk, Reggae & Roots all songs larded with a fat layer of BLUES! The members of the band met each other on a Jamsession at the port festival of Leuven (Belgium) in 1999. This Jam appeared rapidly a windfall of format which made the idea grow forming a band. The first rehearsels started on the boat of drummer, Toon Derison, the boat was called 'Jack'. Floated by the inspiration "A chacun son Blues" a first demo with 5 own numbers arose in 2001, and in 2004, they released their first CD "Small talk, Space Message" on the label Naked Productions.
