'Armonicista, cantante y compositor nacido en Bilbao en 1978, comenzó con la armónica por casualidad, tras recibir una como regalo por su 19 cumpleaños. Sus influencias son muy variadas, ya que siempre fue aficionado a muy diversos géneros que ha ido incorporando a su música: el jazz, el swing, el dixieland, la música caribeña y de Nueva Orleans, el country, etc, aparte, obviamente, del blues en todas sus vertientes.
Despues de algunos proyectos primerizos de blues y rock, donde siempre fue el cantante y armonicista, fundó en 2002 Basin Street Café, junto al bajista y guitarrista Adán Arsuaga, una formación abierta, aún en activo y de repertorio heterogéneo, orientada a integrar elementos diversos tomando como referencia la música de Nueva Orleans.
En 2007, y junto a dos compañeros de la última formación de la Basin, Pablo grabó y autoeditó “Rootless Background”, bajo el nombre de Pablo Almaraz & Los Voodoo Santos, un cd que recoge diez canciones propias representativas de sus variadas influencias y obsesiones.
