One of the first bands to walk through the doors of my Western Star studio was Bill Fadden and his band the Silvertone Flyers. I recorded their debut album ‘Bop Party’ which was released on Raucous records in 2000. A year or two later I recorded their second album ‘Satellite Rock’. By this time I had started my own label, so I was more than happy to have them on my label as not only did I love the band, but I considered them all friends.

We had a great time recording these tracks and further Mostly Losers sessions were talked about, but alas with everyone’s busy schedules it wasn’t to be. The only one exception being the track “Little Baby” which was recorded in 2005 for one of my Joe Meek tribute CD’s. Alan Wilson
