The band, The Garnet Hearts lept onto the rockin’ stage in 2005 when they released 5 smoking tracks on Wild Hare Records ...Ain’t Rocket Science Vol 1. One track Scotch Whisky, instantly became a favorite anthem in the dance halls of the U.S. and Europe.

Subsequently, the phone has been ringing off the hook at Wild Hare.

“Who are they?” “ That singer sure sounds familiar.”.....”when is the full length CD coming out?”..............”they are the best new band in the U.S.!!” On and on the positive comments kept flowing.

We can tell you that Eddie MacIntosh and drummer Mark Pettijohn are remnants of the Baltimore based Boom Boom Cats. The tight rhythm section is further anchored with bassist Johnny Bozarth. Lead guitar is shared by Eddie MacIntosh and Alex Fine. Additionally, Nikki Spurgeon adds piano, vocals and rhythm guitar. But what is most striking is the raw, powerful vocals and tremendous song writing of Eddie.

The Flatfoot Shakers are a 4 piece traditional Rockabilly outfit hailing from Melbourne, Australia. They originally formed around April '97 recording their debut album “Chicka Boom” in September 1999 on Preston records.

With Three full length albums under their belts the boys have made a name for themselves both at home and overseas. They have played and toured extensively across Australia, including festivals in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and the big one "Wintersun" in Queensland. Overseas tours include a 5 week stint in Europe (July 2000), the Rockabilly Rave in England (March 2001) and "Viva Las Vegas” in Las Vegas U.S.A (April 2001 and again in 2005).

Sun Recording artist Glenn Honeycutt first longplayer, 40 years after releasing his last single - authentic rockabilly like in the 50s.

Glenn became a legend for recording a dozen songs in the legendary Sun Recording Studio in Memphis between 1956 and 1958. Only one single has been released - Sun 264 I'll Be Around/ I'll Wait Forever - by Sam Philips. Elvis Presley just had left Sun Records and Sam was looking for somebody who could have a similar success - why not try Elvis cousin Glenn Honeycutt ? Their grandmothers were sisters, but Glenn had never the chance to meet Elvis.

Glenn Honeycutt became famous through an unreleased song called All Night Rock - that why we have choosen this as the title of the CD - Mr. All Night Rock.

In 2004 we asked another Rhythm Bomb artist Randy Rich to find a main act for one of our record release parties and Randy came up with the name Glenn Honeycutt. I had a quick look in my collection and found some great songs on the Sun Rockin Years Boxset. Yes I remembered playing his songs over and over in the early 80s. But - was he still around ? Does he have still a good voice and finally - is he willing to come over and record new material after all of these years ? The last thing I heard was that he had a good appearance in Hemsby some years ago.

The answer to all of these questions was YES. And we discovered that he is a fantastic songwriter who is waiting to record his own stuff.

We organized a small club tour in Germany and Sweden and finally got him in our recording studio in Berlin. Backed by Randy Rich and the Poor Boys, the guys managed to record 15 songs in 4 days. 12 of them you find on this CD. As an old Sun tradition, we kept the three best songs for us to release them in twenty years on a Rhythm Bomb Box set ... just kidding ...

11 of these songs have been written by Glenn Honeycutt, only My Heart (#9) has been written by Randy Rich. Its not easy to pick out the best songs, but our feedback so far was the best on A Love Song (#12) and Promise Me Love (#10). We just got a request from a manager of a well known Pop artist who plans to cover A Love Song.

To record 50s recording artists in a vintage recording studio backed up by a young band - this is one of Rhythm Bombs strategies. But we try to make it different - we catch the original sound, pick only originals (or a few covers) and we never re-record the hits of the artists. And we try to find songs for our artists which are reflecting the age of them - they are all over 60 and have left high school 40 years ago ...

Charlie Swings again - Hear his favourite songs in his own swinging style.

Charlie Gracie is one of a diminishing number of rock-n-roll innovators, who continues to actively perform. A native of South Philadelphia, he became the first successful recording star of the "Rock Era" to emerge from that neighborhood. In 1957, Charlie's 'Butterfly' topped the American and British music charts, selling over 3 million copies. His other late fifties big sellers include: 'Fabulous', 'Ninety-Nine Ways', 'Wanderin Eyes' and 'I Love You So Much It Hurts'. These hits bankrolled Philly's famous Cameo-Parkway record label, making it a dominant force in the music industry for nearly a decade! At the height of his fame, Charlie frequently appeared on 'Dick Clark's American Bandstand', 'The Ed Sullivan Show', and 'Alan Freed's TV Specials'. He headlined shows at the Brooklyn Paramount, the Casino Royale in Washington, The 500 Club in Atlantic City, and Old Connie Mack Stadium in Philadelphia. Charlie's star burned even brighter in Great Britain where he became the second American artist to bring rock-n-roll to the English concert stage. Preceded only by Bill Haley, Charlie headlined the London Palladium and Hippodrome receiving outstanding receptions from the press and public. To this day, Charlie Gracie, is a much loved and respected performer the length and breadth of the United Kingdom. His latest CD features his favourite songs, done in his swinging style.
