For the past 20 years, in Nashville and around the world, Rob has been performing live straight forward country music forged with honky-tonk, western swing, bluegrass and rockabilly.

While living in Nashville, Rob cut his teeth for five years, everday, playing on Nashville's historic Lower Broadway (Roberts western World, Tootsies Orchid Lounge amongst others). During that time, Rob shared stages with Charlie Daniels, BR-549, Mandy Barnett and Wayne Hancock to name a few. In 2002 Rob was awarded that years best "Real Country Music Award" by the Nashville Scene. Since then, he has shared other stages and tours with some of the worlds most renowned musicians and entertainers. Among them being Van Morrison, the Buena Vista Social Club, Jerry Jeff Walker and the list goes on from there.

Rob's first European record "Highway Man" (Rhythm Bomb records) is an in-your-face, gutsy, melodic, danceable, drinkable compilation of soaring rhythm and pure honky tonk energy. "A must have for any old school country, honky tonk and rockabilly fan!" (CD Baby. 2009).

Rob brings that same energy to every live show. Rob has a remarkable baritone voice and is a true entertainer. The Star Mountain Dreamers were formed in 2003 by Fred Contreras and Tony Estrada. The addition of Danny Magaña on drums and several personel changes on bass included Rockin Lloyd Tripp and Moe Lopez completed the band. We've had the opportunity and pleasure to appear in The Hollywood Showdown '05 & '06, Viva Las Vegas '05, Green Bay Rockin' Fest II, and The High Rockabilly '05.

Kick ass Rockabilly from El Paso, Texas. The Star Mountain Dreamers were formed in 2003 by Fred Contreras and Tony Estrada. The addition of Danny Magana on drums and several personel changes on bass including Rockin' Lloyd Tripp and now Moe Lopez completes the band.

The music is all hot and spicy Texas rockabilly. If you wanna rock, bop and dig it, this is the platter for you. Great rockabilly rhythms, excellent musicianship and a very specific own sound. You might find that the lyrics are a bit hard to understand on the fast tracks, but the way singer Tony Estrada expresses himself with a huge load of energy is really something else. Although fast and loud, the album was recorded in a very vintage way at the El Paso Texas Mobile Unit of "The Studio That Time Forgot" (San Fransisco, CA).

The album was officially released at the Green Bay Rockin 50s Fest, 2005. The song "Hound Like Me" was selected "Boppin' Crackshot" of August 2005 by the famous Dutch Rock 'n' Roll Lifestyle Magazine "Boppin' Around".

In the summer of 1994, I got a short letter from a cat named Pedro Serrgura who lived in Portugal. He told me that he had a rock-a-billy band called "The Tennessee Boys", and they wanted to come visit us and try to do some recordings at our home in Denver Colorado. I had a number of doubts about their idea,
and suggested that they think it over quite seriously before making such a decision. After all, they were all very young men, and had never really been away from home before. About three weeks later we got a call from the airport saying that they were here and could we give them directions to our house! We were more than a little surprised to say the least! A couple of hours later in walked these four young hep cat looking boys, with smiles on their faces and rock-a-billy in their hearts.

After a few days of getting adjusted to a pretty much different "world" than they had been used to, we took them out to our favorite rock-a-billy club called Ziggies Saloon and introduced them all around to the cats and kitties who were there hangin' out. They borrowed some instruments from one of our local be-bop bands called the Hillbilly Hellcats and the town of Denver was changed forever! Them boys took all of us by complete storm! I mean, they flat rocked our socks off, and soon became the rock-a-billy "house band" and played almost every weekend there. It didn't take them very long before they'd won over the hearts and minds of every Rockin' cat and kitty we had in town and a number of bands such as High Noon (who they more than held their own with), The Roadhouse Rockers, and various other bands.

During the week, we got together almost every day and jammed and recorded. I had the pleasure of recording a number of tracks with them myself and they also recorded a large number of their own songs as well as covers of classic rockers. This CD is (in my humble opinion) the very best of those recordings, and shows just how talented these cats really were. I've heard other recordings they had made in studios, but none of them even came close to the power and spontaneity (which is after all what makes rock-a-billy music what it is) of these recordings. They stayed with us in Denver for just about a year and gave us the
very best of their unique style of music, and everybody simply loved each and every one of them in return.
It broke our hearts to see them go, but as most things in life, all good things must come to an end. Denver was never really the same after they were gone though. Although they're no longer active as a band, we here all wish them the very best! As someone who had the opportunity to really get to know these boys, (and who is as much of an "expert" as there can be in the field of rock-a-billy field music) I can guarantee you'll get your shoes rocked right off'n yer' feet when you put this little gem on the ol' play and spin it!
So, put your rockin' shoes on and hold on to yer' hats cats and kitties! The Tennessee Boys are gonna "ROCK YOUR WORLD"!

Latino-rocker/crooner PEP TORRES, from Hollywood, CA, plays his own blend of 50s style rock & roll, rockabilly, doo-wop, and rhythm and blues. Pep puts on an incredible show of highly energetic and danceable numbers as well as tender ballads, emphasizing his uniqueness by singing in both English and Spanish!

Originally born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Pep started singing when he was 15 and by the age of 17 was strumming guitar along with his rockabilly records and he hasn't stopped since! Fronting his own band, PEP TORRES has released three albums on the Hollywood Vintage Records label: "Rockabilidad" (2000), "You and I" (2002),and "It Aint Rocket Science" (2004) with his fourth ,"Luck Is On My Side"(2006) ...he is after all 'an All American/Mexican Boy'!

His music is prominent within the roots music genre sub-culture in the United States as well as in Latin America and in Europe where he has been called by some "the new Ritchie Valens" and the King of Latino Rock and Roll.

Those cats come from the cold Sweden to warm up the dance floors around the globe, their first CD is full of great R&B sounds from the 50's and 60's era.

El Toro Records is proud to present one of the best R&B bands coming from Sweden in the new century! Don't miss it!

Torbjörn "T-Bear" Solberg and Jan Lillsäter had been playing together in a Texas Shuffle trio for about 10years, when T-Bear came up with the idea of starting a band with a horn section.
The band was formed in spring 2004 and had their first gig just before Christmas the same year.

The following year the band continued doing gigs, writing some new songs and saving up money for a CD production.

In the mid summer 2006 T-Bear&the Dukes hired one of the Swedish Radios mobile studios and recorded "Let The Sweet Talk Flow" in a church-house outside of their hometown. Later that summer, parts of the band mixed the recording and sent it to Mastertone for mastering.

Thanks to Leo Castro, a legendary radio-voice in Barcelona and MySpace the band got in contact with Carlos Diaz of "El Toro Records" who was interested in releasing "Let The Sweet Talk Flow" on his label.
