This hillbilly bop, rockabilly, western swing outfit from Milano, Italy, - four guys with lots of experience in former noticeable acts like The Tribal Bops - has been one of the hardest Italian working bands in the roots field since 1995. This is the band's first album in nine years and features nine originals and seven excellent covers from rare gems of Hony Tonk and Rockabilly.

The band has succeeded in creating its own distinct sound which still has its roots in early Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps style.What you get is happy, jazzy rock’n’roll played by dedicated musicians who know their stuff but are not afraid to continue developing their style, most of the album's songs are self written.

T-Bird Gang is a four piece band consisting of singer Pete Boy, guitarist Jay , bass player Chris and Sam on drums. Band was put together in 2003 and it released it's first cd "It's Showtime!" in february 2008.T-Bird Gang is a group consisting of Finnish roots musicians who have been in this genre since the 80's. The band was formed in the summer of 2003 as bassist Chris and guitarist Jay started jamming with Pete who had a long history in Finnish rockin' scene. It didn't take long when drummer Tommy joined the band and T-Bird Gang was born. After a while they shifted from basic rockabilly to Gene Vincent's 1956'-57' material (Pete had a band earlier in the 1990's that played Gene Vincent-material with original arrangements and style) where they found a working concept. The concept of playing G.V. songs with original style turned out so well that guys started writing new original material to fit that style. Their new album " It's Showtime!" proves that the band has succeeded in creating its own distinct sound which still has its roots in early Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps style

OK, you already know this is a great rockabilly combo, so you think you know roughly what to expect on this album, right ? Oh Really ??? Well you couldn't be more wrong, and I'll tell you why…

You get yanked straight in with a frantic paced bopper, Crazy For My Baby, and the pounding moody rocker, Lovestruck Baby. But then whats this ? Piano and Sax on the '58 Danny Boy classic, Don't Go Pretty Baby ?!! As this gets you thinking, you cruise along with a couple of fine country rock songs blaring out.... the tuneful, Why Did She Have To Go ? you play over and over and the alternate Tell Me Who with '60's Elvis western movie backing, has you grinning from ear to ear ! A change of mood and the powerhouse instrumental, Thunderbird is followed by a straight down the line Gene Vincent rock'n'roll workout on Let Me In ! When you hear, I Aint Got You and Pride and Joy, you have to look at the CD cover to check that this earthy, black r'n'b is the same band ! No More Cryin The Blues superbly handled.. not rushed, calms you back down, and just when you thought life was normal again, the guys shed their rockabilly skin and turn out a perfect white Italian/American do wop classic..

In July, 2004 Rhythm Bomb Records' plans to release a HANK RAY CD with material from the "lesser known" / "so-called-unreleased" canon of Hank Williams, Sr. finally took shape.
Immediately answering the call, Hank Ray - the man behind THE RAYMEN / THE HOLY ROLLER TRASH INC....just to name but two of his many projects - selected 4 Hank Williams "poems", the man himself had never recorded and wrote "new" music / arrangements to these Hank lyrics to be released on his 3. Solo album called "BALLADS FROM THE BADLANDS OF HEARTS".
These "new" versions of "Forever's A Long, Long Time", "A Stranger In The Night", "Somebody's Lonesome" and "Your Turn To Cry" are the results of this "Collaboration From Beyond The Grave"...
The above-mentioned titles plus another 12 more HankOnHank recordings were done during two sessions at Berlin's Lightning Recording Services in Summer 2004.
Each song was done as a straight vocal / guitar performance ( many of them first takes ) with stand-up bass, tremolo guitar and organ added later for a "fuller" sound.
12 selections were finally chosen for this album release...
