Recorded in NYC and Seattle with producers Marc Copely and Matt Brown, gods & nations is a blend of alt- ambient rock with old-timey jazz, folk and blues elements, and influences from a cross-section of artists like 70s rock and soul artists Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and the Rolling Stones to Bjork and Edie Brickell.

Austin-based singer/songwriter Jennifer Leonhardt released her debut studio album Gods & Nations (GrassRoots record) in 2007. Her single "Gentlemen's Bet" is out on ShutEye Records' United State of Americana Volumn 4 compilation with tracks by Bobby Bare and BR5-49. The reviews have been positive:

This new album was highly anticipated. Imagine Sage Guyton’s ability to sing and write songs combined with Jeremy Wakefield on steel and the support of Dave Stuckey on drums, Wally Hersom on bass and Russ Blake on guitar. Well, if you’re into western swing this is the combination that would make your heart flip! And it does. The album opens with "Rarin’ to Go," the kind of song that takes no prisoners and you know you’re not just listenin’ to another album but a recording that could stand proudly near Hank Penny, Tex Williams or Bob Wills in your collection. This band swings, I mean REALLY swings, they don’t play country songs with steel on a rock beat, you see what I mean? All this album is a proof that Sage Guyton is not only a fantastic singer but a genius in term of writing songs. Groovy Eyes has performed over 1.000 inspirational festival,-club,-restaurant,-TV & radio gigs in Finland, Sweden, Norway & Denmark.
Their second Tuberadio Broadcast - CD continues following the path of their unique, earthly & fearless 2-track live-recording tradition. The natural, unconditional & wide open vibrating way of making records is the only way this band ever wants to do records which was the case also of their highly worldwide acclaimed debut High Flyin´ But No Foolin´- CD.
With this CD the band has succeeded again in a very hard field that most bands only dream of. They have captured the same spontanity, energy, intensity, soulfulness and joy of life as they are serving live on stage. These 100% original tunes are worldclass in their professionalism played with immediately irresistable groovy sound and personality. The name of the CD comes from Groovy Eyes singer / guitar player / songwriter Jussi "Jo´ Buddy" Raulamo´s "sensational" Finnish made Salora ´53 tuberadio guitar-amplifier, which he has used through out the band's 10-years history. Due to this "character's" original and outstanding sound with his archtop-guitar/ tuberadio-thing the U.S. Blues Revue & Vintage Guitar -magazines have written articles about it.
Great gigs, reviews and global radio play of the band´s debut record has resulted to Tuberadio Broadcast CD's distribution in Scandinavia, Europe & Northern-America.

Of our infamous families, the two of us had been the musical holdouts until we gave into the force and began writing and playing music together. Armed with a ukulele and a guitar, we penned songs such as ‘S#@t Makes the Flowers Grow’, ‘Knock Me Up’, and ‘Motherf*#@#r Got F~#@*d Up’ and we thought, “What a crime it would be to keep these national treasures to ourselves. How can we
keep silent when we are the voice of a nation?”

You may not hear us on the radio, since our songs have been described as “inappropriate”, “off-color”, “not ready for mainstream” and “NSFW”(Not Safe For Work).

Our debut EP, 'Folk Uke', is self-titled, as are we. It was produced by Abe Guthrie and ourselves. "Family values" would be the common chord in this unprecedented collection of songs, since we let our Dads, Willie Nelson and Arlo Guthrie, take the solos and chime in when they were compelled to do so. It was the least we could do for our executive producers. It made them feel good and that made us feel good; so we took the chance that it would make thousands of people feel good and we printed thousands of copies. The latest album of Eero Raittinen, a 63 year old veteran of finnish R & R, was recorded at Levon Helm´s (The Band) studio in Woodstock in mere two days. The CD includes 4 bonus tracks recorded live at Levon´s Midnight Ramble, where Eero & The Noisy Kinda Men were invited to open the show for the maestro himself. "Woodstock" has gotten rave reviews in the finnish music press.

Jan Ieven (El Fish, Rhythm Junks) started Jim Cofey in June 2006. The band’s music is inspired by the New Orleans Funk of the sixties and seventies. Dr. John, The Meters, Eddy Bo, Jon Cleary, Allen Toussaint & Jimmy McGriff all appeal to the bands imagination. Jan Ieven, Steve Wauters (Last Call, Big Dave) and Patrick Cuyvers (Hideaway, Soul Spirit) first worked together during sessions with Lurrie Bell in 2005. They hit it off so well that they have been playing together ever since. Dynamite Steve is a member of Last Call, in which he is renowned for his “second-line” drum style, an essential ingredient in New Orleans music. Patrick Cuyvers has a velvety voice and a great aptitude for playing the organ; he could be the prodigal son of Jimmy Smith and Chris Rea. When Patrick joined the band, it was time for the real deal.

Rob Vanspauwen, the fourth member of Jim Cofey, adds a southern sound to the band and deploys the art of Zen into his guitar playin’ through choppy rhythms & funky leads. New Orleans music never comes without African percussion. When Gert Servaes starts playing, don’t be confused by the name, you can see a glimpse of the Boabab Tree descending on stage. Saxophone player Igor Maseroli completes the line-up. He’s responsible for the energy & feel good vibe on stage and is renowned for his luscious superb solo’s. Jim Cofey brings you quality. From Lowdown Funk, dirty uptemo grooves to real Mardi Gras-style party songs. The mix between well known classics and original material makes it all a unique experience.

Speedbuggy USA is a road band bent on coalescing American roots rock with the younger generation, a sound derivative of hard times, blue-collar life and endless tours around the world. Though without turning their backs on traditional country completely,
Speedbuggy USA mingles Buck Owens California twang with some Johnny Cash and the upbeat sound of the Pouges, and more recent The Clash. And with the famous Texas Outlaw honky-tonk movement, they've made it difficult to exclude the parallels evoked when matching newer kinds of Roots-Alt Country and Rockabilly.
The songs drip with pomade sweat, and through the haunting passion of Timbo's voice, Sloan's bass tones, McMullen's traditionalyet-modern pedal steel and Muzingo's persevering backbeats, lies a quality of emotional extremes relative to peering out a window on a cross-country road trip and seeing different faces all sharing a similar personal struggle.
Now 2006 brings yet another chapter in the band's history. Valle De la Muerte is a special anthology of ten songs about the Deep South and the Badlands of the West an eclectic collection of traditional roots instrumentation and stripped-down country-rock with a living room jam session feel. Several songs even come directly from singer Timbo's strong emotions of the USA's worst natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina.

You must have been waiting for Tiny Tones debut CD Precious for a long time. At least we have! It really wasn't a smooth nor a quick task to do. It didn't just happen. The same thing can be said about life itself - not easy. Since Ram-Bam Records are doing it all by ourselves. We book our gigs, are on the road 200 days a year, play the gigs, promote, take care of the media,
make our own CD art work etc.

These days when the most (BIG) record companies "corrupt" both their artists and their CD buyers with products that can not be called music anymore - Ram-Bam Records is the opposite. We have the power in our own independent hands. We stand for what we do and decide how everything is done. Our philophosy is to be true, raw, small, courageous & beautiful. Simply: to be honest with the music and ourselves. Precious is totally our heart, soul & spirit. We assume that it will capture yours' as well.

Susanne sings the most while there are three duet songs - that really take the breath away. There are also two instrumentals. The very last song is an acappella.

The time through making this CD was lived in rough waters. Susanne's mother was diagnosed with cancer and died before the CD was ready. It took 3 years. All that time was filled with mixed emotions - a lot of ups & downs... You can HEAR the bittersweet feelings of loosing someone you love in the beautiful ballads. The record is dedicated to Susanne's mother who showed us that life is Precious.
One should never take it for granted! It is also dedicated to You!
