2. What's in it for you?

• Firstly, you're in charge! you decide how much we sell your CD for, we take just £3 from the sale of each CD then pay you 100% of the remaining balance. The majority of our CD's sell for around £9.99 but If you want your release to sell at £4.99 or £14.99 that's no problem, you decide. (£9.99 = approximately $20.00 US & CAN / 13 EUROS / 2000 JP YEN / 21 AU DOLLARS)
  
  
• We'll handle the credit card sales, invoices, packaging and post your CD's out for you on the day we receive an order. We'll email you every time you sell a CD and let you know how much you've earned. There's no complicated uploading of images or MP3's, we take care of everything and pay you regularly. Easy!

• We pay you for any money that you've earned from sales on a monthly basis (the first Monday of every month). We pay you via Paypal or in some limited circumstances by cheque (we can only issue cheques in UK Pounds Sterling, if you cannot cash cheques in this currency through your bank then we must pay you via Paypal). Once the money that we pay to you appears in your account (normally just 1-3 days), it's yours to spend!

• Selling your CD's on Rootscd.com is totally non-exclusive, you can withdraw your CD from sale any time that you wish and you can sell your CD's anywhere else that you like!

3. Working hard for you

• Besides everything listed above, we also:
  Copy and digitise 1 minute of all the tracks for customers to preview.
  We scan your artwork into different sizes and add the album to our web site along with information about your release, a full track listing, press quotes, artist details, links to your web sites and anything else we can think of to help to sell your CD!
  Your CD will be available to buy Worldwide, 24/7.
  Your release will be highlighted in our "Exciting New Titles" newsletter to our customers and RSS feeds.
  We'll also give you a cool link that you can add to your web site to direct your fans to Rootscd.com to buy your CD.
  
• Rootscd.com offers artists the most cost effective way to gain targeted sales of their music. Getting a great listing for your CDs on our site can be a time-consuming process for us, and we feel £10.00 for as many titles as you like offers fantastic value! We try as hard as we can to keep costs down for independent artists and always will. The fee is a one time only payment, If we sell 5 or 5000 copies of your CD, you only ever pay once.
  
• You also benefit from listing your CD for sale on a 100% roots specialist site! Your music won't get lost among thousands of classical, metal, pop, or trance releases! 4. Is my CD suitable for sale on Rootscd.com?

• More than likely! Your release must obviously be in the "roots" genre, by that we mean, blues, rockabilly, folk, jazz, etc. Of course there are many, many sub-genres of these categories i.e. swing blues, ragtime, acoustic folk, electric folk, trad jazz etc... there's WAY too many to list! We know that and many artists music has wide ranging and varied elements and influences, that's good!
  Maybe your music does fit neatly into the folk or rockabilly sound, maybe it has many different roots ingredients, if any of these are true to you then you belong on Rootscd.com
