Willie & the Wolves was formed 1992 in Jyväskylä, Finland. The band's music is a well cooked mixture of rhythm & blues, rock & roll, jump blues, swing and New Orleans rhythms. The sound is exciting combination of Maku's soulful vocals, Mika's wild guitar attacks and rhythm section's swinging groove. During the years, the band has gathered a reputation as one of the wildest and most entertaining live line-ups in Northern Europe.

The musical influence list is endless (as usual...), but the names like Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Pee Wee Crayton, T-Bone Walker, Guitar Slim, Ray Charles, Fats Domino and Little Richard are usually the first ones to be mentioned.
